The character was the topic of heated discussion amongst people who wanted her return in future shows. However, Sanctuary was removed in the year 2012. Ullerup was cast in the year 2016 as Bree O'Brien for Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup played Maggie Thomas, the estranged spouse of Michael Thomas, in the disaster movie Asteroid: Final Impact (2015). Ullerup also played Dale Travers, a recurring character in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films, from 2016 to today.
